The Piano Nobile is Palazzo Palloni's larger apartment — a grand frescoed space across the upper floors of a 15th-century building in the centre of Sorano. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, 150 square metres, room for up to six.
The restoration recovered the original frescoes on the walls and ceilings. The living room is generous enough for a group to use properly, not squeeze into. The kitchen is fully equipped — hob, oven, fridge, dishwasher — far more than you'd expect from a standard week-long stay. The tuff-stone walls keep it cool through summer; there is no air conditioning and you will not miss it.
The reason guests return is the mix of generous space, the quality of the finishes, and the familial touch of owners who are discreetly but genuinely present.

Sorano itself is a village of 700 people. There is no traffic, no nightlife, no noise. The most stressful thing about staying here is deciding whether to visit Pitigliano or Saturnia first.

Struttura pulita e accogliente Die Unterkunft hat eine tolle Lage im Dorf, unweit der Parkplätze - daher mit gutem Verkehrsanschluss - aber dennoch schon eindeutig im wunderschönen historischen Dorf und komplett ruhig gelegen. Architektonisch und Innenarchitektonisch ein Juwel, mit sehr eleganten, zeitgemäßen Lösungen und lässt den ursprünglichen Charakter des Hauses dennoch erahnen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und haben die schönen Details genossen.
Die Gastgeberfamilie ist wirklich nett und zuvorkommend und war immer erreichbar.
